Mahesh Babu, talks about how Mahindra is not just pressing down the products but also developing an ecosystem of charging, also an ecosystem of stake holders like Policy makers, customers, dealers, skill development with them and building up the complete ecosystem, integrated in society particularly in urban transport is the key for the success of electric mobility.

It will take some time to make this shift as today we only have petrol pumps but 100 years before petrol pump, they would have evolved the same way as charging and swapping is doing now.

In next 5 years, the responsibility of the stake holders particularly in the cities is to develop and grow the existing cities in a sustainable manner by adapting sustainable properties of mobility like electric and also develop a role model of how a smart city can do by complete transformation of electric mobility.

Mr. Mahesh Babu serve as the Chief Operating Officer at Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited (formerly known as Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd.). He was instrumental in the design and development of the XUV500 sport utility vehicle (SUV).
